Admission Requirements
Those who are interested in following Research Methodology & Scientific Writing can apply. (We recommend participants who are an undergraduate or above)
Course Details
- Days of Lectures – Tuesdays & Thursdays
- Lecture time – from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Medium – English
- Mode of Teaching – Online (Zoom)
- Duration – 48 hours
- No Exams or Assignments
- A certificate will be given to the participants who have a minimum of 80% attendance.
Course Fee
- Free for MPhil & PhD students who are registered at the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS), USJ
- LKR 17,500/- for the students who are following the Postgraduate Certificate/ Postgraduate Diploma / Masters (MSc/MA) at FGS, USJ, or Staff members of USJ or undergraduate students of USJ
- LKR 35,000/- for the External participants

Application Process:
- Pay the Application Fee of LKR 1,500/- to the following account (all applicants, including current postgraduate students, must pay this application fee)

- If the bank officer informs you that this account number is incorrect, please ask the officer to contact People’s Bank, Gangodawila branch.
- People’s bank accounts contain 15 digits normally. But this account contains only 12 digits. So, you cannot use Cash Deposit Machines or bank applications to pay.
- Scan the bank slip / take a photo of the bank slip (You should upload it in the Application form)
- Fill out the application (Google Form) from the following button & submit.
- We will communicate through email after the deadline.
Those who have participated previously, but not completed, are required to make the following payment.
- LKR 9,000/- for the students who are postgraduate students at FGS, USJ, or Staff members of USJ, or undergraduate students of USJ
- LKR 17,500/- for the External participants
Please do not pay the course fee (LKR 35,000/- or LKR 17,500/- or 9,000/-) until we ask you to pay.
